Why choose us
What you should expect from an agency
Most home care agencies list the same things. What sets us apart shows up on a bad day.
When something goes wrong
| Situation | Often | With us |
|---|---|---|
| The regular caregiver calls in sick | Often: Whoever is free turns up, or nobody does | With us: A named backup who has met the client takes the shift |
| Needs change after a hospital stay | Often: The old plan runs on until someone complains | With us: We go through the plan with the family before care starts again |
| The family wants an update | Often: Call the office and explain the case from scratch | With us: One person who knows the case picks up |
| The match is not working | Often: You are told to give it more time | With us: We change the caregiver |
The caregiver standard
- 1
Background and reference checks
Every caregiver is screened before joining our team, including required background checks and employment and reference verification.
- 2
Skills checked before we place anyone
We confirm each caregiver's training, experience, and ability to safely support the needs outlined in the client's care plan.
- 3
A meet up before the first shift
Whenever possible, we introduce the caregiver before care begins so the client and family know who will be coming into their home.
- 4
We keep checking in
Our support does not stop once care begins. We check in regularly with clients, families, and caregivers and adjust the care plan when needs change.
What we will not do
- We do not provide skilled nursing
- No wound care, no shots, no clinical work. If that is what you need we will say so. Then we point you to the right place.
- We do not promise what we cannot staff
- We will tell you at the first visit if we cannot cover your hours. Not after you sign.
- We do not make medical decisions
- Care plans follow what the doctor and the family have agreed. We report changes. We do not diagnose.
See if we are the right fit
No strings. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.
