FAQs
Questions people actually ask
If the answer you need is not here, call us. We would rather talk it through than have you guess.
Getting started
How do we arrange an assessment?
Call us and we will schedule a home visit. The visit is free and there is no commitment attached to it.
How quickly can care start?
Once we understand your needs and confirm services required, we work to arrange care as quickly as possible. Start time depends on caregiver availability, your location, scheduling needs and, when applicable, authorization through your Medicaid waiver or care plan.
Do you have a minimum number of hours?
Care schedules are based on each person's needs and the services authorized in their care plan. Contact us to discuss the schedule you need, and we'll let you know what options are available.
Cost and coverage
What does it cost?
The cost of care depends on the type of service, the amount of support needed, and how care is funded. For individuals receiving authorized Medicaid waiver services, covered services are provided according to the individual's approved care plan.
Do you accept Medicaid waivers?
Aspire Home Care works with eligible individuals receiving authorized Attendant Care and Home and Community Based Services through Indiana Medicaid. Coverage and available services depend on the individual's waiver program and approved care plan. Contact us or speak with your care manager to find out whether Aspire can provide the services authorized for you.
Do you bill insurance directly?
For Medicaid waiver services that Aspire is authorized to provide, billing is handled according to Indiana Medicaid requirements and the individual's approved services. If you have another type of insurance or funding source, contact us and we'll help determine whether it can be used for the services you need.
Working with a caregiver
Can we meet the caregiver first?
Yes. We introduce the caregiver before the first shift wherever the schedule allows it.
What happens if the match is not right?
Tell your coordinator and we will change it. You are not stuck with a caregiver who is not working out.
How are caregivers screened?
Caregivers go through Aspire's screening and onboarding process before being assigned to clients. We verify required qualifications and make sure caregivers are prepared to provide the services outlined in each client's care plan. We also continue to monitor care after services begin.
